Los Angeles - Eminem yang meraih 10 nominasi hanya membawa pulang dua piala Grammy Awards 2011. Lady Gaga dan Jay-Z mengantongi 3 piala. Kejutan muncul saat album 'The Suburbs' milik band Arcade Fire berhasil meraih piala untuk kategori paling bergengsi, Album of The Year.

Band indie asal Kanada itu berhasil mengalahkan Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Eminem dan Lady Antebellum. Namun, Lady Antebellum juga menjadi kejutan lain. Band country ini paling berjaya dengan lima piala, termasuk dua kategori paling bergengsi Record of the Year dan Song of the Year.

Justin Bieber dan Drake bersaing di nominasi Best New Artist. Namun ternyata keduanya dikalahkan oleh penyanyi juga pemain bass jazz Esperanza Spalding.

Rihanna cukup membawa pulang piala Best Dance Recording. Begitu juga dengan Michael Buble dengan piala Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

Bruno Mars mendapatkan piala Best Male Pop Vocal Performance sementara John Legend & The Roots berhasil mengantongi dua piala masing-masing untuk Best R&B Song dan Best R&B Album.

Acara Grammy Awards ke-53 digelar di Staples Center, Los Angeles, Minggu (13/2/2011) waktu setempat. Para peraih nominasi juga ikut memeriahkan acara tersebut dengan penampilannya. Inilah daftar pemenangnya:
